A diverse group of presenters (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, nurses, anthropologists, and consumer advocates) will review a variety of topics related to behavioral health issues of children, adolescents and their families. Special attention will be given to psychopharmacology, psychotherapeutic intervention, assessment and diagnosis, substance abuse, classroom management, and the development of community resources. Each session will involve a concise presentation of the topic at hand with ample opportunities for case discussion and consultation. Providers working in primary care and schools as well as behavioral health agencies are urged to connect, and will receive continuing education credit for their participation. This year we will be offering 90 minutes teleconferences on the first Wednesday, second Tuesday, third Wednesday, and fourth Thursday of each month from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Teleconferences are currently only being offered via telephone. We will advise listserv members when video capability is available. Click here for upcoming sessions. |
